About QualCare

QualCare Medical Group is a primary care practice serving adults, seniors and families across the Hudson Valley. We work out of two offices — Fishkill and Poughkeepsie, about ten miles apart — with 13 providers between them.

What we do

Primary care, and the things primary care should already cover: sick visits, chronic condition management, preventive care, allergy testing and treatment, medication review, and telehealth. The aim is that most of what you need is handled by someone who already knows your history, rather than routed out to a specialist you have to wait for.

Why the two-office structure matters

A single-doctor practice knows you well but can’t always see you. A large system can always see you, but rarely the same person twice. Two offices and 13 providers is the size where both are possible: we hold same-day capacity every day, and you still keep your own provider for everything that isn’t urgent.

QualCare is backed by Northern Medical Group. Day-to-day, your care is delivered by the QualCare providers at your office — the relationship, the scheduling and the follow-up all stay local.

What we won’t do

We won’t book you with whoever is free and call it continuity. We won’t send you elsewhere for something we can handle in-practice. And we won’t ask you to guess about coverage — call us and we will check your plan before your first visit.
